In the mid 1990′s Simon took the opportunity to widen his field of experience, and to give his bad back a break (and to avoid spending English winter outdoors) and began working in database management in the UK. Now back in Australia , Simon is dedicating his time to establishing and running Food Connect Adelaide.
Richard Pagliaro.
Richard is Adelaide born and bred and worked as an engineer in Africa and the Middle East before marrying and having 4 children. Richard has a lifetime of experience in production engineering, business operational practice, logistics and business development and can clearly see the day when we will be tempted with the option of having to buy a “Coles carrot or a Woolworths watermelon” ….. unless we act NOW. Richard is committed to the development of Food Connect Adelaide and its logistic management and anticipates steering it to be a viable food system alternative for both producers and consumers.
